If someones weekly salary is $325 a 6.5% commission on sales in a shop How much would that person make if in a work/school week if they sold $4,800 worth of merchandise?....(Sorry I dont understand how I would go about solving this question...)

they start with $325 at the end of the week.

then you find 6.5% of $4800.

5%  =  $240

1%  =  $48

0.5%  =  $24


add 5%, 1% and 0.5% to get 6.5%

$240  +   $48  +   $24

which = $312

add $312  to  $325   which   =      $637
