Which is the correct sentence to follow the one below? The popular kids at Randy's new school are supposed to be unfriendly to newcomers. The answer is B. The word them in this case makes a lot more sense then the word they.

Hi!! It's Anne!! I will help you the best I can with this question. I agree with the person on that site (in comments above). You will hear "them" but the grammar should be "they". There seems to be a big debate on this project. Some people say that them would be correct, and some say that they would be the best. I would most say what I said above, that "them" is most commonly said but "they" is technically correct. Look at those links I gave you and hopefully I helped guide you to the correct answer.
