Answer

Find out the how many dogs are spaniels .

To prove

As given

at the dog show,there are 4 times as many boxers as spaniels.

Let us assume that the spaniels dogs = x

Let us assume that the boxers dogs = 4x

As given

There are a total of 30 dogs.

Than the equation becomes

x + 4x = 30

5x = 30

[tex]x = \frac{30}{5}[/tex]

x = 6

Therefore the number of  spaniels dogs be 6 .

The number of  boxers dogs = 4 × 6
