yes I do agree. reason for this being that in the 80s, when HIV and AIDS first came out, people were dying because of it. People were extremely afraid of the disease. but in modern times, not so much since there is medicine that helps you deal and live longer if you have HIV or AIDS. so yes, modern medicine does help live a longer life. I mean, you barely see people dying from a simple cold anymore, when back, back in the day, it was a deadly thing. due to the fact that there wasn't the right medicine.
