Explanation: the story goes......The cow kicked over a bucket in the barn and it caught a lantern with live fire in it ... the fire quickly spread  on all the dry hay and the bone dry timbers of the barn, as it engulfed a huge mansion as it jumped around the entire town of Chicago,  it caught on fire ......Mrs, O L...

Years later she was exonerated as she has no memory of how the fire happened ....She was young in her 30s or so...
