Fatigue and hopelessness were all that I could feel. With the huge, violent waves crashing and dumping on the small boat. Rain poured and soaked our clothes. Thoughts raced through my head and nausea struck me. I held on the side of the boat with all the strength that I had. Even the thought of the ice cold water sent shivers down my spine. What was I to do? Suddenly, in the horizon, a manly silhouette appeared to be walking towards my group and I. No, that couldn’t possibly be true. That would mean he was walking on water! I rubbed my eyes thinking they had deceived me. The figure came even closer. He was face to face with me now. “I am Jesus. Son of God.” A feeling of warmth and safety projected and I didn’t feel scared anymore.
