Answer: With moral law the criminal law has no necessary connection. Most crimes are infractions as well of Divine and moral as of positive law. But it is the positive law which makes the acts criminal. If an act is in violation of Divine law, Divine disapproval is the penalty. So if you hurt someone based on your moral beliefs you still broke the law thus you suffer the consequences.
