How might Malcolm's father's association with the UNIA have influenced young Malcolm's development ?

Sagot :

Answer:

The answer is below

Explanation:

Malcolm's father, known as Earl Little, was a well-known member of Marcus Garvey’s Black Nationalist-oriented African American group, otherwise known as Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA).

As a child whose father died while he was aged six from an alleged accident, even though many believed his father was murdered at the time, he witnessed series of violence and injustice by white supremacist groups to the extent in which they had their house burnt by these fanatics. These occurrences came as a result of Earl Little association with UNIA.

Based on these experiences, Malcolm felt that the communities of African Americans should use violence to combat violence. To him, the issue of civil rights for African Americans was the government's handiwork that civil rights supporters were appealing to for freedom.
