The arctic does not suffer any seasons as it is furthest from the equator and therefore is covered in ice snow and rarely sees sunlight. Therefore the arctic does not have summer autumn or spring. The arctic is so cold that not many trees can survive and the ones that do are usually chopped down to build houses for the people who live there. The arctic is home to one of the worlds largest seed banks that is there in case of a really bad emergency where the farmers crops in another country are not growing.
