The shapes in my mural I used as a sense of reflection for my emotions. I drew/painted/sculpted what I was feeling. I let the (pen or whatever) guide me with my emotions as the lead. They show how I was feeling that day, and how in each moment I can be truly creative. They work very well together. They have a sense of flow that eases and calms the eye. I would describe the relationship as synthetic-easy flowing.
