Peter is considering two cell phone plans. The first company charges $400 for the phone and $30 per month for the calling plan that Peter wants. The second company charges $125 for the same phone, but charges $55 per month for the calling plan that Peter wants. After how many months would the total cost of the two plans be the same?

Sagot :

Company #1 is 30m+400=?
Company #2 is 55m+125=?
M=months

Now plug in numbers for m until they have the same totals
M=10= equation would equal $700 and $675
M=11=equation would equal $730 And $730

So after 11 months they will be the same cost.
